I split the guns I want in 4 rank categories : Starting , Standard , Prestige and Super Prestige . Below the gun list I put the reasons for each gun . To not exagerrate , I let you determinate the final rank to put .
[Starting ( Below Rank 50 )]
Luger P08 ( 9.MM WW2 Pistol )
AK74U ( Shortened AK74 , but not sawed-off )
STG-44 ( The first real assault rifle , from WW2 )
I will explain why . I know the guns above 100 are too much OP for being low ranks . Anyway , I always put the most OP at high ranks . But its much lower . Last time , it was over 300 . Today , its 100 .
Also , since I done Phantom Forces at 100 % , I search for a new gun higher than M231 . The problem is the members's arguments , blaming its unfair ...
Nah I think more hard to use weapons at high rank would give rank 200s a reason to keep playing and a magazine fed BFG? That's basically an AWP. I don't think we need a variant of the AK74, it's basically the same thing. I love an idea for an M1 Garand though, very classic weapon like the M1911. And for the Super Prestige weapons, let's add laser weapons or maybe even the well awaited upcoming AA12.
I know this is off topic, but whenever I use the M231, the noobs always pick it up as it's the highest ranked gun, and fail miserably with it XD. So nvm the laser weapons, let's add some high recoil weapons just to mess with the noobs. And make this game a bit more fun for those high ranked players.
Do we really need more guns? I mean, there are some guns lito left out and maybe he left out on eof your favourite guns, but is it really necessary to add it into the game? We don't need another revolver when the REX will do just fine. We don't need something like the QBU-88 because we already have other DMRs. We don't need a BFG50C when we....
...wait... mag fed bfg?
...it's semi auto...
forget everything I just said this is amazing
Why don't we just get some obscure weapons? Think about weapon prototypes and other things, not the ones you see in other FPS shooter games. Plus, no one(or atleast me) wants to get the same weapons from COR5. Since Mosin Nagant was put in the game, why don't we put some WW2 era weapons? For example, the De Lisle carbine was an experimental weapon that is similar to the AS VAL. They both had suppresors that were part of their barrel.
I know my next statement is a bit off topic, but HATE the AS VAL and I thought it was really sh!tty since it was released.
If they MUST add another sniper rifle, it has to be something new. It needs to have a characterisitc, a "Why I would use this" element. If the BFG is powerful, Mosin is fast, Remingotn 700 is accurate, and the Intervenetion just in-between it all, what other characteristic could they possibly add? More zoom? A pre-suppressed sniper?
Remember, gentlemen, it must stick with the theme "Advanced Tactical Warfare", so while adding a nerf gun that ine shots at short range may (totally) sound fun, it will be out of place (who cares? It's a nerf gun). Maybe they could add the Nerf gun for April fools? (If they do, I call dibs on Mega Centurion)
and yes lets add some CS-GO weapons and make everyone triggered
I actually play CS-GO and I as a SMFC don't even use half the guns because they are cheep (ingame) and crap
lemme show you some guns that will actually work well from CS-GO
Knifes - Add all of them because they are cool to look at
Pistols - Add the 50. Deagle because the hand cannon 44. isn't enough, we need the Five SeveN, USP ( I swear the kids on this wiki are actually retarted, USP-"S" the "S" stands for supressor, lemme put it in a easy perspective for you if you are one of those kids. get mf kills and add a supressor.)
Shotguns - before you say add the "sawn off shotgun" its basically the Surbu with more rounds
but add the MAG - 7 because its a "tactical shotgun" ooo spoopy but fr add it and for april fools make it the Fag-7 because thats what everyone calls it. DO NOT ADD THE NOVA OR XM1014
Submachine guns - MAC-10 and MP9 because they are fun to use but put them into PDWs they are more for that kinda role.
Rifles - Most of the rifles are in PF but add SIG SG's because they are like Honey badger and HKs in one
and Snipers ADD AWS (idiots its called a AWS and they call it AWP in CS-GO for copyright reasons) and Add scout (basically a mosin with a scope)
we don't need anymore LMGs because we have M60 noobs
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine_Scout_Sniper_Rifle , this is the MSSR or Marine Scout Sniper Rifle. It was made to snipe using the 5.56 nato round. Developed by the Philippines, it was derived from the M16A1 and has an effective range of about 600m. What do you guys think about the MSSR?
@SwagBag02, The AK74U being a secondary is very unlikely and in my opinion, think of the AK74U like a worse AK74, just lighter and better CQB damage. Think of it like the SCAR PDW, a more CQB oriented SCAR-L, same RPM, same Ammo type, same attatchments, same reload, just sliglty worse stats except mobility and point blank damage
AK47 | Nuclear-Powered (Weapon for Alpha Testers pls, Same stats as the Default AK47,Knifing uses the blade infront,On kill Bodies are turned into Nuclear-Gue that doesnt do anything (it drops on the floor))
Let's put the Bushmaster XM-15. It was infamous for being involved in 3 incidents:The 1998 North Hollywood shootout, The 2002 Beltway sniper attacks and the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting. It was also infamous for being designed to become exempt from the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons ban. It has many different variants too.
A S&W .500 should be able to do 1 1/2 the damage of the Desert Eagle.
Let's say the .44 magnum cartrige used by the Deagle is the Heavy round maufactured by Buffalo Bore industries. This 340 grain cartridge propels the bullet 1425 feet per second(434 meters per sec) and excerts 2,074 joules of energy.
On the other hand, the .400 Winchester cartrige in the S&W .500 takes the bullet up to velocities of 1800 feet per second(500 meters per sec) and exerts 3,901 joules of energy.
The S&W cartridge is 1.4703196347 more powerful than the Desert Eagle, or roughly 1 1/2 which is able to 1 hit KO on headshot(maybe).
lol its gonna have huge amounts of recoil to balance it out like the m231.
Why not add a gun that has insane damage at 20 studs, but its recoil is literally uncontrollable, and all attachments reduce aim. The recoil would be enough to shoot you backwards, your sight all the way up, and the bullets has a 50 second delay before firing?
>More belt-fed LMG's (Get that wussy AR crap outta here!)
>Semi-auto Shotguns (Yes, they exist. Yes, they can be balanced.)
>Full-auto Shotguns (See above.)
>M1 Garand (It's more fitting to see it added along with the rest of the M14 family as a high-ranking DMR option.)
>Semi-auto Snipers (Not the Dragunov. That crap's wimpy. Instead, a 2-3 hit limb kill, always 2-hit torso kill, and always a 1-hit headshot kill would be a perfect damage model, at least IMO, paired with lesser bullet velocity and slow firecap.)
DMR's aren't really overpowered. SVU is disappointing as hell, SSR is okay, and SKS is an AK as a DMR. The only really good DMR's are the VSS Vintorez and the Mk11, in my book. The only other M14-family DMR that would be added is the M39; the M14 and M14 EBR could be added as Battle Rifles, due to their full-auto option.
@Sojitsu: Well, no duh. M14 is firing a larger cartridge in a design that wasn't optimized for fully automatic fire (the original design, the M1 Garand, was semi-auto only), and it fired at a faster rate, at 700 RPM as opposed to the 600 of the AK-47.
@Policemantype42: I'm curious. Will it be better, or worse than the SVU?
Also, now that the L115A3 in the test server has been proven to start with iron sights (probably not final), I'd add the Barrett M82/M107 .50 caliber rifle, with the same penetration as the BFG, but deals 65-55 damage with a 2.0x headshot multiplier and 1.5x torso multiplier with about a 2,800 stud/s velocity, and starts with iron sights, staying true to its original anti-materiel role, and fires at about 120 RPM.
I did say that it'd be more fitting if the M1 Garand was to be added with the other M14 variants, which includes the Mk14 EBR. M14 and Mk14 EBR in the Battle Rifles, and the M39 and M1 Garand as DMR's (and perhaps even a M1D Garand as a more powerful Dragunov lmao)
First was Serbu, then was KSG, and then came the Remington 870. Damn shame there aren't more shotguns, particularly more shotguns that use an action besides pump-action (which is why I'm stoked for the IZH-43).
It was a joke bruh. At least its not the Welrod, which is also an integrally-suppressed bolt-action but now its in the weak AF 9mm. Cool for the time, but now it'd be more accurate to call it the hemrod.
Welrod was basically the first practical suppressed and mass-used pistol, so cut it some slack. Also that grip is the magazine, so its a pretty fat mag. Maybe it could have low damage but a rediculously high headshot multiplier, like 4x or something, being a 2-shot kill to the head at range (1 in CQB) and having very good hipfire but low body-shot damage.
Welrod's a bolt-action pistol, so recoil wouldn't be that big of a deal. The bolt would take as long to operate as that of a shotgun. Basically, imagine the headshot damage of the Obrez but the bodyshot damage of the M9 in a bolt-action pistol (RoF of the Serbu)
Probably never. Most grenades rely more on shrapnel than explosives, and probably can't blow a solid wall thru anything stronger than a thin concrete wall, at least not enough to climb thru. Of course, AT grenades might be able to do this, but those aren't anti-infantry. Besides, destruction doesn't really work in the ROBLOX engine; the game's netcode is already buggy enough as is, and adding destruction just complicates things. Maybe large-scale events like the crane being blown up by and mounted TOW or Kornet from a certain location, which the crane defenders would also have to protect might work, but aside from that I can't think of anything
It was. It was most commonly supplemented by the C96 in WW1 and by the P38 and Polish FB Vis in WW2. I'd love to have a Luger and a C96 in the game, check out my blog post on weapon ideas for more. And yes, I realize that the C96 I made makes no sense, but I need to find a way to balance it
The XP-100 is a single-shot, which I think when it comes to balancing secondary snipers for Phantom Forces, should have about the same damage model or in between of either the Remington 700 and/or the Mosin Nagant. Which means hopefully no spread should it be implemented.
Since I've been in a Civil War craze lately, it'd be nice to add in the Henry Rifle Model 1860 or even the Spencer Rifle, since they were the ones who kickstarted the idea of many firearm innovations since they were the first repeating rifles that met with commercial success. Henry Rifle could act like a Dragunov with worse bullet drop and damage, but less recoil. IDK about the Spencer tho.
The Whitworth Rifle is also a notable Civil War sniper rifle renown for its accuracy, and was even believed to kill a Union general in the head from 600 yards. Of course, it would have less muzzle velocity than the other snipers, and have an extremely long reload time, and NOT have a Ballistics Tracker or barrel attachments, but would one-hit anywhere to balance out its shortcomings compared to other sniper rifles, due to it using a similar bullet to the Minie Ball, which has caused some nasty wounds.
So pls more old-timey black powder single shot sniper rifles (and Henry 1860 if I'm lucky)
I just said barrel attachments and ballistics tracker. Nothing else is excluded. No barrel attachments because they could realistically get very fouled, and no Ballistics Tracker because of balancing purposes.
Besides, there are some fools out there that still use some single-shot black powder rifles, mainly in Africa and the Middle East, but they're still by far more common than seeing a BFG 50 with a phone slapped on with Doge camo OH WAIT.
Ballistics would simply become a handicap attachment for everyone and their grandmother considering the slower velocity, but I say no because the 1-hit anywhere to balance the slower velocity and long reload speed would already do enough to circumvent the strong negatives. And come on, we don't need another beta BFG baltrak incident.
World War weapons are nice. Just because you have them doesn't mean that the game will be turned into a CoR5 clone, CoR5 failed because it had shitty balancing by the time the full game dropped, amongst other issues. While PH gives you decently usable weapons from the start and gives you new and sometimes better weapons as you progress, CoR just gave you a bunch of mediocre weapons from the start and said "figure it out dumbass" before throwing a bunch of players who got "good" by grinding with the same weapon over and over again at you.
I agree, in order to get some good weapons and attachments/explosives/perks you would have need to have a bit of spare robux in your account. I still remember the old COR 3 days where all weapons were free.
At least COR 5 had some instructions in the menu that told you what to do(for example;how to throw a grenade, how to dive, etc etc)
In Phantom Forces new players would have to run around asking others about the controls or find out themselves.
Yeah, definitely. IDK, but Phantom Forces just feels a lot more polished. It was always a bit too easy to get lost in CoR and pushed into a lot of unfair situations, while PF emphasizes more tactical maneuvering and marksmanship than reaction time, which I like. It also has more emphasis on teamwork, even in TDM
At least in CoR 5, the skins you got were guaranteed, and you don't have to rely on gambling to get the skin you want (I really want a Uniform skin for the Mosin, but I STILL don't have one yet). I will agree with the shitty balancing tho (I'm looking square into your fucking eye, Sniper Scope Lee-Enfield...). Although the point about teamwork in Phantom Forces... The only teamwork I've ever seen is on the crane, and even then it sometimes feels like the team is working against the objective. Joking aside, the crane in Revamp can help gain a vantage point in KOTH, sniping foes on the enemy-occupied hill, although 90% of snipers on the crane in Revamp, even in KOTH, do it for their own gain.
I rarely use the office building, because frag spam is for scrubs. I use either crane, preferably the farther crane away, because it reduces the chance of anyone counter-sniping effectively, unless they're Baltrak scrubs.
It's a hunting rifle that competed against the Remington 700. A few were used by the US military in the second world war to the Vietnam war and was later replaced by the Remington 700 and the M40 series sniper rifles.
PP-19 would be the other high capacity option for the PDW's for those sick of using the P90. There is no such thing as trash fire rate; any fire rate could work so long as the damage is suited to it. Black powder weapons are the precursor to modern smokeless powder, so of course the inventor of its use in firearms was the smartest person at the time. Although he probably would have laughed at the idea of a modular assault rifle with a decent fire rate and moderately powerful round that can be reloaded by magazine in less than two seconds.
Also, black powder firearms are coming to PF regardless, since the Martini Henry was on the list, and even before Battlefield 1 was a thought.
If you had a PP-19 9x19mm (which has a 54 round capacity, as opposed to the 64-round 9x18mm PP-19) then its damage model could be similar to that of the MP5, but with lower recoil, a lower fire rate, slightly less accuracy, and a much bigger magazine size.
Colonial-era muzzle-loaders would be useless. You at least need to go for something like the Martini-Henry (Which would be a 1-shot like the BFG, but with a much faster reload and far more bullet drop) or the Winchester Repeater.
Colonial era muskets could be a troll weapon for Recons like the M231 is for Assaults. 1-hit anywhere, but bad bullet drop and slow as f reload speed, and can't equip barrel attachments or Ballistics Tracker.
Maybe, if they add a barret, it can have high penetration, can only pick up ammo from BFGs and Snipers (Except mosin), default iron sights, 1.9x headshot multiplier, 1.5x torso multiplier and 2500 s/s.
"(To balance)the Barrett M82/M107 .50 caliber rifle, with the same penetration as the BFG (at 5 studs penetration depth), but deals 65-55 damage with a 2.0x headshot multiplier and 1.5x torso multiplier with about a 2,800 stud/s velocity, and starts with iron sights, staying true to its original anti-materiel role, and fires at about 120 RPM."
I'm still waiting for a legitimate semi-auto sniper rifle, and if it's a Barrett, then so be it at this point. Also, I agree with needing more LMG's (especially with high fire rates or being belt fed) and Battle Rifles (or perhaps both with HCAR...?).
Also, AR-15 is as much of an assault rifle as the SKS is in that matter; AR-15 would fit better with the DMR's as an intermediate cartridge-feeding DMR to pair with the SKS.
Bipods should be available for all sniper and LMG class weapons. A bipod should increase a rifle's aim stability but lower hip stats. It should be the same for LMGs because both classes generate enormous amounts of recoil when firing.
Most LMGs (such as the FN MINIMI, MG4, or Bren Gun) rarely use tripods, and instead use bipods which are much more mobile. Tripods are usually reserved for GPMGs like the FN MAG (AKA the M240) or M60, HMGs like the Browning M2HB .50 cal or KORD, and emplaced weapons like the TOW. This is because these weapons are heavier and have a lot more recoil (compared to LMGs, which use intermediate rounds and typically have slightly less recoil than the standard-issue infantry rifles due to more weight. AMRs like the Barret M82/M107/M95 .50 cal are usually only used against light vehicles, infantry at range, and armored targets (i.e. radar dishes), not at light infantry at mid-to-long range (300-700 meters). At those ranges, Sniper Rifles (MSR, M24, DSR-1 etc) or DMRs (SVD/U, Mk11, M39 EMR, etc), which are lighter and use lighter ammunition, are used instead (mostly).
Character classes would not mix well with PF's art style and setting very well (which is a semi-realistic modern military setting). Instead, Battlefield-style classes or perhaps even ArmA-style specializations would gel much better with the setting and feel of the game. And before you bring up Call of Duty: 1. the recend CoD games have not gone over well with a lot of the vets and 2. that's a sci-fi rambo setting, not modern military.
Well, the whole point is to give out damage for short periods of time and the low damage, but high RPM makes up for this. Their job is to spot enemies and gather info. Stealth and spotting is paramount to this niche.
