  • Safe for users under 18. Since most of the Phantom Forces players are young people.
  • Friendly and tolerant of small mistakes.
  • Positive manners.
  • Encouragement to use and share their talents and knowledge into the wiki.
  • Fun
  • Encourages self-improvement
General Behavior
General Behavior must be done in the wiki:
  1. Edits and comments should always be respectful and politically correct within Wikia's Terms of Use. This means no edits nor comments shall be obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive, profane, or otherwise violate any law or right of any third party, or content that contains homophobia, ethnic slurs, religious intolerance, or encourages criminal conduct.
  2. When you can reasonably assume that a mistake someone made was a well-intentioned attempt to ameliorate the wiki, correct it without criticizing.
  3. Be patient with newcomers. Newcomers unaware of Phantom Forces Wiki's culture and the mechanics of editing often make mistakes or fail to respect community norms. This rule also applies to acronyms, abbreviations and emoticons.
  4. Personal attacks are arguments that focus on attacking another user personally, rather than addressing his arguments regarding the subject matter. Users who participate in personal attacks are immediately subject to administrative action, including banning. Warnings may be given, but are not guaranteed.
  5. An edit war is the act of two or more parties adding and/or reverting an article's content to suit their own view of the subject. Depending on the severity of the edit war, administrators will decide if a ban is warranted, or just a warning.
  6. Sock puppetry is the act of creating secondary accounts for yourself, or having friends create new accounts, for the purpose of adding weight to an argument. Users that are found to be participating in sock puppetry will be dealt with at the administrator's discretion and are subject to warning or bans if necessary.
  7. Spam is superfluous content to the wiki and its community, and is most likely unrelated to those. Some examples of spam are: (i) advertisements; (ii) unnecessary code; (iii) "fake items" or other false articles; (iv) words, emotes or repetitive/excessive statements not pertinent to a topic. All spam will be deleted upon sighting and violators of this rule may find themselves banned for a period of time relative to the offense.
  8. Vandalism is the act of creating or changing a page to either destroy, alter, or intentionally pervert the information in an article. Users who perform acts of vandalism will be banned. This is usually a permanent ban, but administrators reserve the right to impose a shorter ban at their discretion.
  9. Articles about companies and products are not acceptable.
  10. Do not remove threads unless for a legitimate reason (i.e.e spam, trolling, etc). If a user removed a thread from their own wall, do not restore it. If a thread is removed more than twice, do not restore it.

Chat Policies and Guidelines
The Phantom Forces Wiki chat is a way for the Wiki users to connect with each other in a relaxed, fun and dynamic environment. These rules are in place to ensure that the chat room maintains a hospitable environment for all Wiki users to enjoy and feel welcome in.

Users must be registered to Wikia and accept their Terms of Use in order to use Chat.

Wikia's Terms of Use state that a person must be thirteen (13) or older to have an account on the wiki.

"In addition, the Service is intended solely for users who are thirteen (13) years of age or older. A registration by anyone under 13 is unauthorized, unlicensed and in violation of this Agreement." - Wikia's Terms of Use

Policies

  • Users should use common sense and respect each other. If a user wants to be treated well they should treat others well in return.
  • The rest of the Rules and Policies above apply to the Chat as well.
  • Topics not pertaining to Phantom Forces must be put on hold if Phantom Forces topics arise. The only location where off-topics are allowed will be in the Off-Topic board

When you use the chat, you agree not to:

  1. Harass any other members of the wiki.
  2. Post links with explicit sexual, violent, or otherwise offensive content, or bring those topics in the discussion.
  3. Impersonate any other person. This includes making multiple accounts or "avatar swapping".
  4. Ask for personal information (address, password, etc.) from another user.

    • Writing one or two words in all capital letters for emphasis is acceptable
  6. Use "swear words" or vulgar words.
    • Some words may be considered "swear" or vulgar by some, but not by others. It is the discretion of the Chat Moderator or Administrator if a word is being used in an offensive manner.
  7. Post an excessive number of emoticons, pictures, emojis, or gifs into chat. Chat is for CHAT.
    • Using emoticons, pictures, or emojis in chat more than once per sentence or statement is considered excessive.
    • As exception on the previous rule, it's allowed to use multiplay emoticons in one sentence as an tool to explain an breeding combination with the emoticons that are listed on the emoticons page.
  8. Spam. Anything. At all.
    • Spam is the use of superfluous content that does not contribute to the current topic, attempts to change the topic, or disrupts the flow of conversation.
