The Stubby Grip is an Underbarrel attachment in Phantom Forces. It is unlocked by attaining 355 kills with a weapon or by purchasing it with credits.
In-Game[]
The Stubby Grip offers a flat reduction to camera recoil, identical in function to both the Angled Grip and Potato Grip. Compared to other grips, it differentiates itself by additionally taming hipfire spread and boosting camera recoil recovery, further taming vertical climb and improving potential shot placement. This comes at the cost of model damper, making the gun's model recovery slightly rougher.
Usage & Tactics[]
The Stubby Grip is one of the most well rounded grips in the game, competing for the throne of the best. Possessing a plethora of invaluable traits while lacking a significant downside make the Stubby Grip an amazing choice on almost any automatic primary weapon such as the AS VAL, Colt LMG, and MP10. A player may even find the Stubby Grip useful on semi-automatic guns with high recoil such as the Beowulf TCR and MSG90, helping greatly to stay on target and improve shot accuracy when firing at higher speeds. However, it does not reduce the visible gun recoil - and the user may perhaps be mildly disoriented when switching from one to the other.
