"The Mini Red Dot Sight (MRDS) is a small battery powered reflex sight for rapid target acquisition within close quarters. Its clear sight picture provides high visibility in all lighting conditions." - In-game Description
An illuminated secondary sight. (Known as the Delta RDS, in Battlefield 4)
"The Delta is unique among the other red dot sights in the game as it uses a red triangle as a reticle, as opposed to the single dot used by the Mini, Reflex, and Coyote. Compared to the Mini, the Delta sports a much slimmer frame, allowing the player to retain visual awareness around the target, and the red triangle is much more noticeable in chaotic environments compared to the Mini's small red dot."
The Delta Sight is a sight found in the optics section of all the secondary weapons except for the Serbu Shotgun. It is attachable on all of the primary weapons except the for AUG A1, M60 and the G36 as the Canted Delta Sight (CDS) located in the other section. The CDS is able to be toggled by pressing T on the keyboard. The reticle on the two versions of the delta sight are slightly different, the Secondary Weapon variant simply being a red dot while the Primary Weapon version sports a slight chevron as the sight.
Pro and Cons
- Illuminated reticle.
- Simplistic and unobstructive frame.
- Less precise reticle than other optics.
- Bigger reticle size - makes it harder to use at long range.
- Different reticle shape - some may find confusing.
- The Delta Sight is notable for its appearance in Battlefield 4.
