The MP5 submachine gun was originally developed by the German firm Heckler & Koch.

Currently, there are six weapons that are members of the MP5 Family in Phantom Forces:

• The MP5, a Personal Defense Weapon unlocked at Rank 40

• The MP5K, a Personal Defense Weapon unlocked by default (Rank 0)
• The MP-10, a Personal Defense Weapon unlocked at Rank 66
• The MP5SD, a Personal Defense Weapon unlocked at Rank 60
• The MP5\10, a Personal Defense Weapon unlocked at Rank 74
• The MP5A4, a Personal Defense Weapon scapped from the CTE, unlocked by default (Rank 0)
